Stichting PRO is a copyright organisation by and for publishers. We focus on collective rights: rights that publishers cannot or hardly exercise individually. Publishers can receive compensation via Stichting PRO for making copies for private use (thuiskopie), for making copies by companies, government and educational institutions (reprorecht) and for lending books and magazines in libraries (leenrecht, LiteRom).
